The Science Village in Lannion was a great success

There was a large turn out at the Science Village in Lannion where LCI presented the SIRD Indexer, software dedicated to automatic document indexing.

The LCI stand was continuously occupied during this first Lannion Science Festival. After a visit from the local schoolchildren on Friday, it was the general public from Lannion, always interested in science and new technology, who came to St. Anne’s Chapel which hosted the festival all Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

During the three days that the SIRD Indexer was presented, visitors had the opportunity to discover natural language processing and discuss linguistic engineering, linguistics, as well as LCI’s activities in Lannion.
