SABENA Technics

Sabena Technics is the result of an alliance in June 2006 between TAT Industries and Sabena, an aeronautical maintenance center based in Belgium since 1923.

It is in charge of equipment repair, sales and management of aircraft stock and spare parts, and regularly receives maintenance manuals and technical instruction guides from its manufacturers written in English.

To translate the documents into French, technical translators are required who are experts in aeronautical English and the AECMA standard.

The reliability of equipment from the maintenance center, and thus the safety of the aircraft itself, are ensured by the accurate interpretation of the aeronautical documents to be translated and thus the guarantee that the technical terms translated into French match the English terms perfectly.

For several years, Sabena Technics have called on LCI to translate its aeronautical documents that will be used by all maintenance personnel.  Volumes ranging from 2 to 2,500 pages must be processed quickly while respecting the technical nature of the aeronautical language.

We have established an effective and strong relationship with LCI which allows us to communicate easily.

LCI’s responsiveness and the speed in which they complete the work encourages us to provide them with varying workloads on a daily basis.

LCI’s ability to take in so much is complemented with strict compliance with procedures and deadlines with value for money that is currently unbeatable.
