Turbomeca and its partner LCI inaugurated a new training center, based in Izarbel (64), near the site in Tarnos (40). This center is part of the technical training service offered to Turbomeca’s European, African and Middle Eastern clients. In France, it joins the already existing sites located in Tarnos, Marignane and Paris. This new training center will enable us to meet the increasing demand to train users of Turbomeca engines.
Turbomeca relies on fully competent partners in the training sector who are also based locally. This policy of keeping services local is deployed all over the world to meet customer expectations.
Turbomeca also has two training centers based at Turbomeca USA (Dallas) and Turbomeca Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). Created in 1980 and 2004 respectively, these centers provide training for operators based in North and South America.
The center in Izarbel, in the heart of the competitive aeronautics pole, relies on technological innovation. Turbomeca is currently involved in a new support project with several French and European companies. In this context, training is a key factor.
New training methods
Turbomeca’s training program offers new methods and thus caters to the profession's increasingly specific needs, including future developments.
Turbomeca teaches its operators the best way to operate and service their engines, so that the equipment remains in excellent shape during the time it is in use.
Today, no fewer than 35,000 people have been trained by Turbomeca.
Turbomeca instructors are specifically trained to the highest technical level. They regularly undergo refresher courses and internal and external audits. This international level of quality is based on regulations set by civil aviation authorities.
Turbomeca also provides professional training for its own personnel at an international level. The aim is to develop skills in a consistent and uniform manner to reach the high standard of service that Turbomeca owes its customers.
